Wet 'n' Wild Mega Last Lipsticks: What Was I Waiting For?

It seems that I am always tardy to the party. People have been talking about these Wet 'n' Wild Mega Last lipsticks for over a year, and I am just now falling in love with them. I will admit, I tend to shy away from a product if it has too much hype surrounding it, which may be why I am just now getting around to these.
I can totally understand the hype; especially for a drugstore lipstick. Let's be honest, most high-end brands can't get the matte lipsticks right, and here is a $3.99 lipstick that is as close to perfect as I've seen.
I will say that I am less impressed with the packaging. The not-so-sturdy plastic only keeps the product in sometimes, and it allows for too much moving around. They can get pretty messy if you're not careful. I am willing to overlook this tiny flaw, because the product and the price is so great.

The color range is not huge, but the colors that they offer are all beautiful. My favorites are #914C (a really wearable natural brown) and #918D (a deep brick red, that is perfect for fall and winter).
These definitely get a KISS.
Wow, who knew? Maybe I need to check this lipstick out for I am always in the market for a pigmented matte lipstick and I agree with you that HE brands don't usually do a good job with matte lipstick, hence why I buy most of my matte lipsticks from either Revlon or NYX (which is a hit or miss).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review. Blessings.
@ NikiD40: I KNOW! I was utterly shocked at how good they are. I love Revlon lipsticks too though. I have a ton of their lippies.
