Review: MAC Lovelorn Lipstick

Of all the things that MAC makes, their lipsticks are by far my favorite. They smell great, and MAC offers more colors and finishes than anyone else. They are by far not my all time favorite lipsticks, but I do really like them. 

Having said that, I picked up Lovelorn recently, and so far I think it’s really lovely. It’s a medium pick that leans slightly cool. I guess most people might consider this a spring/ summer shade, but when I’m in the mood for pink, it doesn’t too much matter to me. I love wearing it with a subtle smoky eye.

This is a lipstick that stays put well, but it’s not a long-wear lipstick. It is very no fuss lipstick and I find that I can easily wear it without a gloss, because of it’s semi-glossy finish. I really only need to reapply it after I’ve had a major meal, because it stays on through light eating and drinking.
